Attractions, Family, Guides & Tours, Lakes & Rivers, Outdoor Activities, Outdoor Adventure, Rafting, Things to Do, Trails, Water Adventures

From the moment you land in Medford, you’re surrounded by 360 degrees of adventure.

If you like the water, you can raft. Or grab your favorite hiking shoes, and take to the mountains.

You can also fly! ...On a zip line, of course.

ROGUE VALLEY ZIP LINE ADVENTURE

Soar across the sky on five different zip lines some up to 1300 feet long! Watch the ground race by below your dangling feet at this awesome zip line course located in Gold Hill just past the Laurel Hill Golf Course. Everyone is welcomed to zip that is between the weight of 85 pounds to 250 pounds. The price is reasonable at $65 for youth and $85 for adults. This is a 2-3 hour adventure that takes you through the tree line of the valley hills with epic views of the Table Rocks, Mount Mcloughlin and even the rim of Crater Lake on a clear day. This is a must-do next time you are in Medford and the Rogue Valley.

TOP NOTCH HIKING & VIEWS

Many of Medford’s hiking trails are suitable for all skill levels, but still offer a challenge for experienced hikers. No Southern Oregon trail is more iconic than the Table Rocks. With two parts — the Upper and Lower Table Rock — the views from the cliffs stretch across the Rogue Valley. Whatever your experience level, make sure you wear sturdy shoes and bring water.

Prescott Park is another addition to Medford’s hiking and biking scene. The park's crown jewel is Roxyann Peak which has mesmerizing views, lookout points and 1,740 acres of hiking and mountain biking trails — a good way to break in your hiking shoes!

WHITE WATER RAFTING

There’s nothing more refreshing than the splash of cool river water against your skin. A rafting trip down the Rogue River gets your adrenaline pumping!

Your first time rafting? No worries! Medford has rafting and kayaking professionals who keep you safe during your rafting excursion. It’s time to don your orange life vest and take to the water. More a solo rafter? There are lots of river ramps that allow for tubes, inflatable kayaks and paddle boards.
