Meandering along a rippling creek before opening up to a large grassy play area, this location features playgrounds and tennis courts. The park is enhanced by a large turf area bordered on one side by a peaceful walkway, while the opposite bank is laced with graceful willows shading a small creek.

Only 7 miles within the Oregon border, Foris is the southern-most vineyard in the Pacific Northwest. Surrounded by several pristine wilderness areas, Foris now boasts over 178 acres of estate vineyards, just 25 miles due east of the Pacific Ocean in Southern Oregon’s Rogue Valley Appellation.

This small park, located in the southeastern section of town, features a gazebo, and turf adjacent to the creek. If you are looking for a great spot for a quick picnic, this is it!

The Gold Hill Whitewater Park at Ti'lomikh Falls is about one mile from Exit 40 (Gold Hill) on Interstate 5. To get to the park, take Exit 40 and follow the signs for Ti'lomikh Falls to the new parking lot on Highway 234. The Whitewater Center is on private property on the opposite side of the river from the new public parking lot. To get to the center, take Exit 40 toward Gold Hill. Turn left at Blackwell Road (99) and immediately turn right onto Upper River Road (under the railroad bridge). After one mile you will see Ti'lomikh Falls on your left. Stop and see the Salmon Ceremony monument. The Center is 200 yards upstream. Parking for the Center is in the field across the street.

At its peak, the 19th century mining town of Golden, now a ghost town, was home to 100 people and served as a hub for many others who worked the land in more remote locations. Today, visitors can explore the remaining settlements perched above the valley where miners once toiled. Golden's remains include four buildings: a church, a former residence, a shed and a structure that once housed a post office and store.

Grizzly Peak Trail is a 4.7 mile heavily trafficked loop trail located near Ashland, Oregon that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for hiking and nature trips and is best used from May until November. Dogs are also able to use this trail.
