ScienceWorks is a fun, engaging science center where kids and adults can rediscover wonder. The innovative museum features interactive exhibits, an outdoor garden, live science shows and dynamic programs year-round. ScienceWorks offers educational programs for students and teachers, as well as public programs including workshops, lectures, birthday parties, summer festivals and science camps

Our 2-hour Segway tour is perfect for both those new to Jacksonville and city veterans. The two hour "Glide Through History" tour takes you on an adventure through Nunan Square where you will see gorgeous Victorian-style homes, past the historic courthouse and jail, up the hill to Britt Gardens and through the historic Jacksonville Cemetery, where you can catch a spectacular view of the Rogue Valley.

Park History and Plans: Mr. Skyrman, who died in September 2010, donated the property to the City of Central Point with the stipulation that it be used as an arboretum to provide for educational programs for youth from around the region and for public enjoyment. The site is unique in that Mr. Skyrman’s father planted a variety of shrubs and every tree species native to Oregon, including the largest gray pine tree in the state. The property also includes two structures, a log cabin the family built to celebrate the bicentennial in 1976 and the Skyrman home. These buildings will be used to house classroom space for various educational programs.

Slagle Creek Vineyards, originally planted in 1980, is a small family owned winery located at 1800 feet, making us one of the highest vineyards in the Applegate Valley. The high altitude, warm days, cool nights, gentle, south west slopes, and stony loam soil, give the wines their unique character. Slagle Creek Vineyards is now sharing a tasting room with LongSword Winery in the beautiful Applegate Valley. You can now enjoy our wines and buy directly at the tasting room.

South Stage Cellars farms 300 acres of grapes on thirteen vineyards spread across Southern Oregon’s Rogue Valley. With twenty-eight grape varieties to choose from, we offer an impressive selection of varietal wines and blends made under our estate label. Our tasting room also carries wines made exclusively from our fruit by a dozen prestigious winemakers under their own labels.

The S.O.K. club takes pride in creating a family atmosphere where anyone can participate in the great sport of kart racing. Karting is the easiest and most affordable way to get started in motorsports. And there's a national caliber track in your backyard. Whether you're a fan or a racer - We want you to join the fun!  

Southern Oregon Speedway is a 3/8-mile banked dirt race track located near White City. The speedway is part of the Jackson County Sports Park, which also contains a shooting range, a drag strip, and a go-kart track.  

Stewart Meadows is the Jewel of West Medford. It's a very walkable nine hole course, distinguished by a beautiful and challenging layout, including four large ponds, 39 sand traps, over 800 trees and a creek which bisects the 62 acre area. This course has strong appeal to juniors, seniors and all golfers of modest ability.

Our 30 acre vineyard grows 11 different varietals including Syrah, Merlot, Grenache, Temparnillo, Mourvedre, Malbec, Cabernet Franc, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Viognier, and Pinot Gris. The StoneRiver Tasting Room offers a casual, rustic environment where you will enjoy both Merlot and Syrah aged to perfection in premium French barrels. You can also listen to a large selection of 45s from the 50s and 60s on our free Juke Box, or take a turn playing on our free regulation Shuffleboard.

From April to June, the Table Rocks are used as an outdoor classroom. Over 3,500 individuals participate in the Table Rocks Environmental Education Program. Students and community groups of 10 or more are led by BLM hike leaders who share their knowledge of the natural and cultural history as they ascend the Table Rock trails. Weekend guided hikes open to the public are provided by local volunteer specialists willing to share their knowledge while hiking the trails. Reservations for weekend hikes can be made starting in March through the Bureau of Land Management.
