TAKE YOUR WELLNESS EXPERIENCES ROGUE

Searching for a way to recharge for the new year? Look no further than the Heart of the Rogue.

It’s no doubt that wellness looks different for everyone. Here in the Rogue Valley, we like to go, well, rogue. Try out these unique experiences, and enhance your overall wellness!

Activate your spirituality and deepen your relaxation with guided meditations, breathwork and sound healing at Sara’s Sound Healing right in the heart of downtown Medford. Using instruments like weighted tuning forks, crystal healing bowls and Tibetan singing bowls, Sara uses methods specifically designed for you to relax intensely, rejuvenate fully and experience diverse frequencies of sound.

Experience unique techniques of relaxation during a one on one class, group session or even a retreat! All women’s classes and virtual opportunities are also offered for your comfort and ease. Unplug from the world and experience a non-invasive, impactful form of therapy with sound healing!

Experience the peaceful sensation of a warm and quiet Himalayan salt room at Organic Elements Spa. Salt therapy, or Halotherapy (halo means salt in Greek), provides a natural and safe way of treatment. The practice is widely praised by those affected by skin ailments or chronic respiratory conditions such as asthma.

Composed of a positive sodium ion and a negative chloride ion, salt molecules stimulate the airway linings as they enter and break down through the lungs. As the Himalayan salt is inhaled, it travels through the sinuses and respiratory tract absorbing moisture, cleansing, clearing mucus and killing bacteria.

Relaxing in a Himalayan salt room is a unique and tranquil experience. Whether you are searching for peace, healing, or a simple way to treat yourself to self-care, you are sure to enjoy this warm and natural treatment.

Enter into a peaceful hidden retreat with Chozu’s Japanese Bath and Tea Gardens. The Chozu bath experience begins with a purifying shower in one of the steam rooms before you enter into the communal space, featuring a 7000 gallon hot pool. You can also select to reserve your own private tub. After relaxing in one of the pools, enjoy the custom-made sauna, complete with cedar planking for a deeply relaxing experience. Or, invigorate and reactivate your senses with the cold plunge.

After your soak or spa treatment, continue your relaxation journey in the Tea & Sake Lounge. The menu is inspired by traditional rural Japanese food with a pub twist. Enjoy a delicious selection of traditional sakés and saké-inspired cocktails. Or, sit back and sip on your choice of tea, from authentic green teas, oolongs, and herbal teas to matcha, rooibos, and black tea lattes.

No matter your cup of tea, the Chozu Spa is a special place to come for a relaxing and regenerating experience.

Relax, have fun and get a little dirty while you make pottery at Northwest Ceramics. This ceramic studio offers classes at all different skill levels, from throwing and shaping mugs and handles to birdhouse workshop classes. Experience the joy of handcrafting your own piece of treasure, a carefree and perfect time to unplug and recharge.

The studio also offers kids classes, where they can create bowls on the wheel or anything they would like! Plan a family outing, peaceful date night, or a time for yourself to reconnect and create solo with pottery making.

Nestled into the heart of downtown Medford, Rogue Gallery extends the invitation for you to discover your creative side, enjoy a new hobby, or master a new art form. New and seasoned artists are welcomed to explore a variety of fun art classes, going over a diverse selection of mediums and techniques.

Relax and open up your inner inspirations as you learn and connect with others around the valley. From acrylic painting and sketching figured poses to the basics of multi-color block printing, tap into your artistic abilities and relax at the Rogue Gallery Art Center.

Sip on a lovely flight of three wines and a food pairing while you are guided through relaxing stretches at the beautiful DANCIN vineyards.

Through a focus on breath, alignment, and a thoughtfully designed flow, Lori helps students to build strength, flexibility, and confidence in their practice while being kind to themselves. Reconnect with your most authentic self, give your muscles some love and enjoy the fresh vineyard air all while enjoying some of the best wine in the valley. DANCIN produces Burgundian-style Pinot noirs and Chardonnays along with Barbera, Sangiovese, Syrah, Zinfandel and Port-style wines. Experience the beauty of the forested foothills of Southern Oregon and nourish your senses as you sip and stretch your way into wellness!

From forested foothills to feeling your best, the Rogue Valley offers an abundance of opportunities to enhance your overall wellness. Surrounded by gorgeous hiking and biking locations, recover and rejuvenate from the inside out with a family or solo hiking adventure. Explore the best hikes the Heart of the Rogue has to offer, and step into the new year rejuvenated and cared for with these uniquely relaxing activities and experiences.

If you're seeking wellness, go rogue!
