Medford is a desirable location to hold sports events for many reasons; we are easily accessible by air and by car as we are directly on Interstate 5, conveniently located between San Francisco and Portland. Our mild and sunny climate is also a big draw for the outdoor sports enthusiast. This, coupled with our incredible sports venues and welcoming community, has provided so many memorable experiences at sports events. We are proud of the local events that were born here and continue to grow such as the Rogue Timbers Memorial Challenge, The Wild Rogue Pro Rodeo, Southern Oregon Golf Championships, Rogue Marathon and more. Medford has also hosted several regional NAIA and USA Softball tournaments and are excited for the opportunities that lie ahead for national events such as the American Cornhole Organization Major coming to southern Oregon in February 2023.
