HIGH SCHOOL FALL SPORTS POST-SEASON RUNS

Another fall sports season is coming to an end. Once again, Southern Oregon was strongly represented across all sports at all levels. Congratulations to all teams on great seasons, and good luck to those who are still competing. Check out more results below!

The South Medford boy's soccer team battled to the first round of the 6A state playoffs this season, as did Phoenix in the 4A tournament. Both Ashland High School and St. Mary's High School fought to the quarterfinal rounds of the 5A and 3A tournaments respectively. 

The Crater Comets battled through a competitive season to make it to the first round of the 5A state playoffs. South Medford will be competing in the finals of the 6A Columbia cup against Sandy High School on November 21st in Cottage Grove. Cascade Christian High School will be competing in the semifinal round of the 3A state playoffs November 22nd in Cottage Grove for a chance to play for the state championship the following week. They were the #1 seed going into the tournament.

Both North Medford and Ashland's girl's soccer teams made it to the first round of the 6A and 5A state tournaments. The St. Mary's girl's soccer team fell just short in the second round of the 3A/2A/1A state tournament.

North Medford and Phoenix High School both battled to the first round of the 6A and 4A state playoff tournaments. St. Mary's High School made it to the second round, while Cascade Christian took 3rd place in the tournament for the 3A division. South Medford and Crater traveled to Forest Grove to compete in the 5A and 6A tournaments. The Panthers fell short in the quarterfinal round, while the Comets fell to the now state champions and took 5th place overall.
