Valley of the Rogue State Park

Valley of the Rogue State Park is a 277-acre recreation mecca along the Rogue River. The park is open year round and offers plenty of adventures to keep any outdoor enthusiast busy.

Walking and Hiking Trails

Avid explorers have plenty of space to roam, and the park features a 1.25 mile route along the Rogue River that offers excellent plant and wildlife viewing. If you're seeking a longer hike, there is also a 3.5 mile paved multi-use trail. It is part of the Rogue River Greenway Trail, a project working to create a connection from Grants Pass to Ashland. This trails connects Valley of the Rogue State Park with the city of Rogue River.

Get on (or in!) the Water

The park features a boat ramp for easy water access. You can swim, kayak or paddleboard along the river. The fishing is top-notch, just remember to bring your pole. If you are more inclined to stay on land, play in the sand volleyball court or horseshoe pits.
