One of Medford’s most popular neighborhood parks, Holmes park is located at 185 S. Modoc Ave. Tucked into a quiet residential area, the park features paved and unpaved pathways, a modern play structure, mature trees, basketball and tennis/pickle ball courts, and a large grassy multi-purpose lawn.

The Howard Prairie Resort is 155 beautiful acres, including 1.63 miles of lake frontage and breathtaking views of Mt. McLoughlin. The lake waters are teeming with both trout and bass and have some of the best fishing in Southern Oregon. The Skate Park offers rails, stairs, double sets and grinding blocks for both beginning and expert skateboarders. With a restroom, drinking fountain and picnic bench nearby, this is the ideal place to spend the day.

This 8+ acre park features large amounts of turf area, spray water park (Seasonal), 2 basketball courts, 2 large playground structures, 1/3 mile paved walking path, restrooms, tables, BBQ's, small gazebo, and wetlands with Little Elk Creek running through the east side of the park.

Located on the east side of Medford, Lone Pine Park offers a nice place to bring the kids to enjoy the spray park or to walk the dog on the asphalt .25 mile loop. The park additionally offers scaping views, large fields for play and gazebos for gatherings!

A striking hand-carved sign surrounded by colorful flowers mark the entrance to this small shaded park. The gazebo and picnic bench provide a perfect setting for enjoying picnics or more active pursuits such as horseshoes. The sound of cascading water and the serene pond will draw you back time after time.

Prescott Park starts from Roxy Ann Drive off of Hillcrest Road. The park totals 1740 acres of hiking and mountain biking trails, both paved and unpaved. This park is the perfect place for family adventure and incredible overviews of the valley!

This 1.5 acre park is conveniently located in downtown Central Point. Robert Pfaff Park offers a performance stage and covered picnic areas ideal for celebrations with family and friends. Lush foliage provides a peaceful and shady backdrop for strolls and afternoon picnics. The park features a band shelter, playground, tennis court and basketball court.

Rogue Elk Park covers a total of 33 beautiful acres including three-quarters of a mile of access to the upper Rogue River. This special park provides numerous activities such as camping, fishing, rafting, swimming and an excellent opportunity to escape for a day trip, picnic or family event. Rogue Elk is the county's most popular camping spot along the upper Rogue River with prime riverfront campsites, RV sites with water/electric hookups, restroom/showers, picnic tables, barbecues and a playground.

Park History and Plans: Mr. Skyrman, who died in September 2010, donated the property to the City of Central Point with the stipulation that it be used as an arboretum to provide for educational programs for youth from around the region and for public enjoyment. The site is unique in that Mr. Skyrman’s father planted a variety of shrubs and every tree species native to Oregon, including the largest gray pine tree in the state. The property also includes two structures, a log cabin the family built to celebrate the bicentennial in 1976 and the Skyrman home. These buildings will be used to house classroom space for various educational programs.

Takelma Park, located on 40 acres, including .38 miles of river frontage, is a popular spot among anglers during fishing season and rafters floating the river. The beautiful Rogue River flows along this county park, which features a boat ramp, CXT vault toilet, and a paved parking area with night lights. Located just north of Dodge Bridge Park, Takelma Park offers a convenient local getaway destination. Takelma Park is a perfect location for fishing, boating, rafting, or just relaxing the day away in a peaceful riverfront setting, away from the city.

The City of Central Point and School District 6 have partnered to provide this community sports park, known as Civic Field. Located in the northwestern part of the City, Civic Field includes over 7 acres of multi-use fields, sand volleyball courts, basketball courts and walking paths.
